Rosie Huntington-The new cast member of Transformers

Apparently the folks at CinemaCon (formerly ShoWest) think so highly of Michael Bay’s latest eye candy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley that they’ve awarded the former Victoria’s Secret lingerie supermodel the coveted “Female Star of Tomorrow” award.

Okay, so “coveted” is probably a bit of a stretch, especially when the winner of this year is a first-timer whose first movie hasn’t even come out yet. And from what I’ve seen, Huntington-Whiteley pretty much stands around gawking prettily as giant alien robots battle it out around her. Plus, she dresses way too respectable for someone who is supposed to be filling the “sexy eye candy” role formerly filled out oh-so-nicely by the fired Megan Fox. What’s up with the power suits, Rosie?

In case you were wondering, Chris Hemsworth won the male equivalent of the reward. I’m guessing he’s probably not all that enthused with being lumped in the same winner’s category as a former underwear model, but I could be wrong, especially if they LITERALLY lumped him in the same room with her. She is quite fetching, after all.
